microwave popcorn

I am a pop corn fanatic. I went to the store and bought some that
has "SPLENDA" in it. It’s sweet, but an acquired taste. I am on
Metformin meds right now and it sends me running to the bathroom but
when I eat this popcorn it has the opposite effect on me. Is this
normal for diabetics? Any ideas how to make it tasty and yet not
devilishy bad for you?

    Go to www.foodnetwork.com and at the very top is a space that says "search";
type in popcorn and hit enter, a page will open, scan down to find all the
different recipes for popcorn, click on the recipe name not the chef or source
name and it will give you the recipe. There are 3 pages under "popcorn" I hope
    this helps!

This is good ….(she does all kinds of things to popcorn to spice it up, I have
more if you would like them, they are really easy and very good!)

    Zippy Italian Microwave Popcorn
    Rachel Ray; Food network TV

1 package micro popcorn prepared per package directions
2 Tablespoons butter* (see foot note)
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder or Granulated Garlic
    1 Teaspoon dried Oregano
1 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (more or less to taste)
    1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese

While corn is popping, place butter and spices in a small pan over low heat
allowing butter to melt and spice to flavor it. Place popcorn in a bowl and

pour spiced butter over it, add the cheese and toss to coat well.

    *Foot note*
I use "I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter" (TM) spray. It has NOTHING in it…0
calories, 0 fat; 0 carbs but it is sooooo good and buttery tasting!!! I use it
on everything in place of butter. To use it for the popcorn, just remove the
cap and measure it into a small bowl with the spices and warm so flavors mix.
To use it on veggies, rice, potatoes etc. Spray a good coating of it all over,
mix it up and then add more to increase the butter flavor. You can have as much
as you like, there is nothing in it, no strange chemicals or anything…check it
    out!
