Sugar Substitute

Does anyone in this group know anything about a product called Whey Low?
I am not affiliated with the company, but found it on the web recently.
(www.wheylow.com) My husband has Type II Diabetes and was drinking soda
with nutrasweet/aspartame. I managed to get him off of that when I
found soda sweetened with sucralose/splenda. My preference is to avoid
any artificial sweetener, so I have been looking for an alternative.
Whey Low sounds like it would fit the bill - low calorie, low net carb,
low glycemic index.
Has anyone tried it or spoken with a nutritionist or Doctor about it?
Thanks for any input.

I love Whey Low. I posted about it not too long ago, on either this group
or another. I even made candied pecans with it, as it can be used one on
one as a sugar sub. in candy, baking, anything.

The only gripes anyone has about it, is it is not zero calorie. For me,
2/3’s fewer calories and ZERO nasty taste is just fine, thankyouverymuch!!

I had strawberries and shortcake yesterday, made with Whey Low, and it was
delicious. Hubby is now starting to use it. I still use sweet and low in
my iced tea, because 1.) the tea and lemon somehow offset the aftertaste in
this particular drink, and 2.) it is much cheaper and I drink a lot of tea.

The Whey Low is a bit pricey, but to me, worth every cent.
