Sautéed Peppers and Tomatoes
Makes 6 Servings.
1 large onion, chopped (approx 1-1/2 cups)
2 Tbsp olive oil
4 bell peppers (1 red, 1 gold & 2 green), chopped
1 tsp Nature’s Seasons Blend seasoned salt*
3 large tomatoes, cored & cut in chunks
1-1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
*Substitute a Salt-Free blend if on low salt meal plan;
sodium content in the nutritional analysis calculated
using seasoned salt
Sauté onion in oil for 5 minutes. Add peppers & seasoning
blend and sauté about 8 minutes more. Add tomatoes and
basil; cover & simmer until peppers are tender, about 3 to 5
minutes. Makes 6 Servings.
